About the London Vandoos
 

The Vandoos is a group of like and unlike-minded Canadians who get together on the 22nd of each month to meet new people and catch up with old friends. Guests and "honourary" Canadians are always welcome.

Vandoos "membership" is very casual and simply consists of being on our mailing list. The Vandoos is free, though some events or venues may charge cover. Event location changes each time, and as we meet every 22nd of the month, you will always have a Vandoos gathering coming up.
If you can make it this time, great! If not, no problem, there's always next month. What could be easier?

The Real Vandoos:

As we are Canadians over here "fighting the good fight", we have taken our name from history. Although in no way affiliated, the Vandoos is named after the 22nd Regiment, a batallion of French-Canadian soldiers formed for the First World War. After establishing a reputation as a crack squad of fighters, the 22nd Regiment was celebrated
throughout the Allied Forces. On this side of the pond "les Vingt-deux" became known as "the Vandoos" (their anglicised name) and their place in Canadian history was secured. Read more about the Vandoos on their official website at http://www.r22er.com
